For my AP Exam, my concentration is introduced with the Colombian map enclosed in a bigger map glazed with the Colombian flag colors, the Andes mountain range and the most famous lakes and rivers in Colombia. #4is an uncover mine that represents the most famous geodes in Colombia which are the emeralds. #5is a rack of bananas, this piece is really unique because the string holding the bananas is a piece of fabric that I braided, this piece was challenging because the bananas were hard to glue However this piece was fun because I got to play with space and I used different materials.  #6represents the delicacy in which the agriculture is processed and that is represented by the orchid while the machete represents the rough times the farmers have to face when trying to tame the wild nature. #7the farmers hands, was the most challenging piece I made because it was difficult to capture the details of a real human hand. #9 represents the pure water that is collected from the waterfalls.  #10represents the ladies who carry huge bowls and baskets on their heads filled with fruit that is sold to tourists and residents of Colombia. #11is the famous Colombian hat called “el sombrero volteado” covered in Colombian news, informing the world about the importance of Colombia’s agriculture and how unknown some of it is to the rest of the world.

Most of my pieces are inspirations from my Colombian culture, they are mostly glazed with earthtone colors which symbolises Native American trives.
